Another biblical pair of siblings - the sisters Leah and Rachel, both of whom became wives of Jacob and hence mothers of the twelve tribes of Israel. Jacob actually wanted to marry the beautiful Rachel, serving her father for seven years so he would get Rachel - but after the wedding night, he found Leah under the bride's veil, and her father said, it was not custom to marry off the younger daughter before the elder. So Jacob served him another seven years for Rachel, and the two sisters were co-wives and somewhat unequal rivals for Jacob's attention. Jacob definitely prefered Rachel for her attractive looks. (This maker is not exactly of use for making ugly girls, so I tried to make Leah look rather plain instead by dressing her in mute colours and Rachel in more shining shades and jewelry. Of course, Rachel was not richer than Leah, but I think she might've been more vain.) However, Leah gives birth to many sons while Rachel is barren for a very long time. They did not have an easy relationship.
